On Saturday, August 26th, CEAI Osceola County sponsored a back-to-school prayer breakfast to encourage, equip and empower educators for the 2017-2018 school year. Shireen offered an opening prayer and then we were blessed by a sweet time of worship from Brian and Xavier. Brian was last year's recipient of the Honor the Grads award from St. Cloud High School. He generously gave back to us by singing before and throughout the fellowship time of the breakfast. Thank you Brain and Xavier. Our delicious breakfast was catered by Koffee Kup, voted the best breakfast in Osceola County again!
Our keynote speaker Derrick Hicks educated the educators on the history of public schools and showed repeatedly how our nation was built on the strong pillars of Christianity. The educators all wished there was a way to review his presentation again or that they had taken better notes.
Karen was able to shared some of the important CEAI updates that include:
- Clothed in White Day - September 7th
- Seminole County's prayer breakfast (CIPE) - September 23rd
- LIFT America dinner - January 14th
- Honor the Grads - Osceola - May 10th
- Daniel Weekend - Summer 2018
Liz closed the prayer breakfast in prayer the encouragement to fellowship. May God bless you all in your high calling this new school year. Pray and be in His Word!
As always, I am prayerfully yours,
K
