Honor the Grads - St. Johns County

Christian Educators Association of St. Johns County held its 20th Honor the Grads event on May 1, 2017 at the Good News Church in World Golf Village, St. Augustine, FL.  These honored graduates were chosen by their peers because they lived their Christ-like walk through their high school years. Each of the seven high schools were represented.

This prestigious award may be the most important award these students could ever receive. Each one graciously thanked Christian Educators, their parents and the many support systems of people that brought them to this point. They shared stories of being in Christian families and being in the faith since their youth. Some of their future plans include: University of North Florida, University of Central Florida, Notre Dame, Johnson University, the Naval Academy and the military, including the Marines.

Each honoree was able to share a favorite scripture which included:

All honorees received a medallion for graduation, a certificate and a $100 scholarship for their future plans. Congratulations to each honored graduate and their families.
