There is only one more weekend until Easter when we
celebrate the greatest act of love ever. Let’s make an all out effort to be
affectionate to those we treasure in our families. They are often the ones that
get neglected when we are so busy with so much to do. Slow down this weekend
and take stock in the ones you love.
A verse to ponder
Greet all God’s
people with a holy kiss.
An intentional blessing for the classroom (weekend)
Cherish your family today. Be intentional about
kissing your loved ones. Do you realize how much we say, “Love you,” these
days. Make sure you tell the ones you love, “I love you,” this weekend. Why not
throw some butterfly kisses in while you are at it? Be intentional about
letting those you love really know how much you cherish them.
A focus of reflection
Have you told God that you love Him lately? Being a
Christian means we have taken on his Name, become a member of His family and
call Him “Abba.” We can be just as sloppy about telling God how much we love
Him as our family members. Sing love songs to Him and proclaim your love for
all He has done. After all, we love Him because He loved us first.
