God’s Word is living and active.
It gives us encouragement, hope and lessons for daily instruction. I listen to Alistair Begg
often and he demonstrates that by preaching whole books of the Bible he can hit
on every one of life’s issues. It’s amazing. Today let’s be intentional with
our face.
A verse to ponder
Numbers
6:24-26 – The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine
upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you
peace.
An intentional blessing for the classroom
Just as God shines His face upon us today it will be
our turn. Use your smile today on
purpose. Be conscious of your facial expressions and intentionally send smiles
today. You will be amazed at the power
of shining our face upon someone else.
At the same time, notice the smiles of others and comment on their
smile. “Nice smile.” “You’re always smiling.” Your smile made my day.”
A focus of reflection
Have you thought about how gracious God has been to us
as educators? He gives us creative ideas, strength to be patient when we are
not, the desire to learn and this high calling. Thank God today that He made
you an educator and how much He shines His face upon us.
Day 36
(I was unable to see any students on President's Day, but it's never too late to encourage them to be anyone they want to be! ")
