On Sunday evening, January 14, 2018, 144 educators gathered from around Central Florida to praise, worship, fellowship and enjoy a tremendous meal prepared by Carrabbas. Mike Hicks, the director of LIFT America for Christian Educators, dreamt of having a gathering of Christian Educators a few year ago while serving as a Biology teacher in California. His first gathering had 50 tables of 8 - 400 educators! He was able to replicate the gathering a few more times when God called him to do this across the nation. Our LIFT dinner in Central FL was the 9th nationally with 9 more schedule for this year alone. What a blessing to gather with our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

The theme for the evening was "Who's My ONE based on Matthew 18:10-14 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish."

Be encouraged! You can reach one with love each day. We are called to be Jesus in the public schools, displaying His love to those we touch. You may not be able to reach them all, but you can love ONE each day. Ask Him daily who that is to be!
