The 16th annual CIPE Prayer Breakfast was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Altamonte Springs Hilton. For the 12th year in a row, the Seminole High School Gospel Choir kicked off the event.
Karen Seddon, director of FL CEAI (Christian Educators Assoc. Int.) was able to shared some of the important CEAI updates that include:
- Clothed in White Day - September 7th
- LIFT America dinner - January 14th
- Honor the Grads - Osceola - May 10th
- Daniel Weekend - Summer 2018
A delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, pastries, pancakes and more was served by the hotel staff. All enjoyed the fellowship time. Our guest speaker, Dr. Bill Ziegler spoke to us about joy. Dr. Ziegler's energy and enthusiasm was graced by his storytelling gift as he shared the gift of being Jesus in the public schools. Perhaps the story most loved was when Dr. Ziegler helped a family for 6 years by driving brothers to college and home for 6 years!
A sweet time of corporate listening prayer allowed for the whole group to participate in prayer together at each table. This special time of worship with our brothers and sisters in the public schools was concluded with praise and worship by William Tillman, 2nd grade teacher in Seminole County.
May God bless you all in your high calling this new school year. Pray and be in His Word!
As always, I am prayerfully yours,
K
